Just ate at Meet Market in Silverlake. On Saturdays they offer an ALL YOU CAN EAT vegan brunch for $10. Seriously. Tofu scramble, tempeh bacon, zuchinni pancakes, etc. Nothing short of heavenly. Off to have a drink now. I love how there are no rules on the weekend (ex. drinks at 2pm are completely acceptable).

Online shopping is convenient, but it can be a gamble - esp. if you’re trying to buy shoes or pants. Sometimes shoes aren’t true to size, and not all pant fits are created equal. For those types of purchase, my options are a) try them on in-store first, or b) reserve online purchasing for accessories and shirts/dresses only. I’m an avid accessory hoarder, and I admit this without reservation. I’m most comfortable in a simple uniform of black tights, short-shorts, and a gray or black t-shirt/tunic thing. The length of said tunic never really qualifies as a dress, but I’m short so I get away with it. The uniform inherits personality from my accessories: inappropriately tall platforms, weird chains...

In middle school I remember buying CK One scented nail polish from the Topanga Canyon Mall and thought I was the coolest ever. I also wore blue sparkly lipstick from urban decay but I’ll save that story for another time (or blog post).
